《小心大树倒下！》
Sven and Ole were out working in the forest one day. They had just gotten jobs as lumber jacks(伐木工). One say they were working along cutting down all the tress that had the big red X on them(其中一人说他们要一起合作把上面有大大的红色“X”符号的树全部伐掉). As instructed by the foreman they were to yell “TIMBER!” whenever the tree was about to fall. (领班的指示每当有大树要倒时他们都要喊“TIMBER”)
Ole was cutting down a tree and yelled “Timber” and all of a sudden he saw a skidder pulling a tree out of the woods drive right under where the tree was about to fall(突然他看到一位把一根树木拉出森林的集木工开车正好经过大树将要倒下的区域). There was nothing he could do about it. (对此他却无能为力)
The tree fell on the cab(驾驶室) killing poor ‘ol DooDah. That was his name for his parents gave it to him. He was a young man recently married. Well Sven and Ole didn’t know what to do, so they called the priest and he said to go talk fort（安慰） DooDah’s now widow(寡妇).
They walked out of the forest into the town and arrived at the widow’s house. They were dumbfounded(目瞪口呆) and didn’t know what to think or say. So quickly as the fact that the tree fell(时间如同大树倒下那样过得飞快)…… Sven rang the doorbell. A few minutes later the widow DooDah appeared at the door. Sven said that Ole had something to say. He’s at a loss of words and all that came out of his mouth is “GUESS WHO DIED IN THE WOODS TODAY!”(他不知道该说什么好，从嘴中道出来的竟是“猜猜今天林子里死了谁？”)
